The digital room service app is targeted at luxury travelers and business travelers. The app offers items and services from the hotel shops and restaurants, as well as tips and recommendation for things to do and get in the visited city.

Project scope
✅ Create an intuitive user flow that allows users to easily access shops & services, event information, and tips. Keeping in mind the user mental model and connecting the service with hotel stay details (days, room number,…)
✅ Design and prototype the app UI and handover all necessary assets to mobile developers.
Design process
UX design
The users doesn't want to invest time and effort into creating and customizing an account just for few days hotel stay. That's why user registration was based on an sms-code that user gets after check-in.
Payment was adjusted to fit the app use case, allowing user to pay at checkout or add the amount to their hotel bill, reducing the mental effort required for setting up payment method and tracking different wallets.
UI Design
Branding of services, images and icons was different from one hotel to another, so the app UI was designed with minimal branding and with a subtle character that doesn't take over the hotel branding.
